Aug 16, 2011 - What weight was the KB in the video ? How do I determine what weight I should use ?

Aug 16, 2011 - @marveladeguitar the breathing gets your abs involved in the motion to support your back. it won't ruin the exercise...it just won't be as good. try to not take as deep of a breath each time instead

Aug 16, 2011 - @hannahr201 it's a very subtle thing to get the hips to lead the motion. honestly you might just want to go get your form checked by an RKC

Aug 14, 2011 - @rockbodyfitness: when I do my breathing like you I begin to hyperventilate, after which I have to stop, 'cause I'm getting dizzy; is this normal? Can I breathe half as fast or will that ruin the exercise? Thx!

May 1, 2011 - Thanks for the video, Eric. Do you know what kind of improper form usually causes neck strain? I just started, and I got it neck strain. It's like on the sides of the neck where it meets shoulder area. I'm going to let it completely rest until the strain goes away before I atttempt it again. After rereviewing several videos including yours... I think what was wrong was my shoulders weren't pulled in, they were more forward going over the knees. Anything else you can think of? Would appreciate..

Mar 21, 2011 - i was recently bitten by the kettlebell bug. I visited and RKC instructor last week and he tweaked my form on the swing and TGU. I just wanted to say that I think this is one of the better form videos for the swing on youtube. Keep up the good work.

Sep 11, 2010 - @Kosyghin get your form checked professionally by an RKC instructor. there is a lot to this exercise that the untrained eye won't get
Kosyghin Says:
May 24, 2010 - I'm not sure how I would "pull up my kneecaps," especially since I wear a knee brace during my workouts since I'm coming off a right knee injury. My main issue with the swing (whether I do 2-handed or 1-arm) is my lower back gets REALLY sore after only a couple of sets. I've reviewed my form over and over, and I can also Snatch and Clean & Press just fine, but I cann't seem to Swing without back pain.
